From time to time, when something strikes our fancy, the Tennessee Stage Company puts on a show as part of what we call our Timeless Works series. It’s something of a disorderly affair – occurring just six times in the past fifteen years – but we are very happy to revive The Timeless Works for our 25th anniversary production in January 2015.

To mark the beginning of our 25th anniversary season, and try out the gorgeous space in the Historic Southern Railway Station, on January 22, we will open a two-week run of Mary Chase’s classic comedy, Harvey. This classic comedy is the story of a most unconventional man who has dropped out of the rat race to live a simple life with his most unusual best friend, Harvey, who just happens to be a six foot tall invisible white rabbit!

Harvey was our very first Timeless Works production, in 2002, and in honor of our 25th anniversary it seemed a perfect time to rediscover this fantastic show.

The Timeless Works Series is unique among our work because these shows are fundraisers for the company. Everyone who works on a Timeless Works production donates their time and talent to the company so we can continue to grow and pay the artists involved in our other productions and programs. Previous Timeless Works presentations include: The Philadelphia Story in 2003, The Foreigner in 2005, The Miracle Worker in 2006 and I Hate Hamlet in 2009.

Please join us at the Historic Southern Railway Station this January to celebrate our anniversary with our favorite play – Harvey.

HARVEY runs January 22 – February 1, 2015. Purchase tickets online.
