TSC Board Member Performing in Cormac McCarthy play “The Sunset Limited”

TSC Board member Stephen M. Dupree has been invited to, and has accepted, reprise his role as Black in the critically acclaimed play by Knoxville native Cormac McCarthy – The Sunset Limited. On January 16, 17, and 18, 2014, Centre College in Danville, Ky will present the production that Dupree first performed with the Actors Coop at the Black Box Theatre in 2008.

The performances will be at the 360 seat, Weisiger Theatre on the campus.  The other character in the two man play, White, will be played by author -actor – director, Peter Josyph, of New York. Direction will be by Professor Patrick Kagan-Moore.

On The Road @ The Palace Theater

TSC GOES ON THE ROAD: THE PALACE THEATRE IN CROSSVILLE, TN

A huge thank you to everyone who helped put the Tennessee Williams’ Weekend together!  Before we debut Tennessee Williams’ three selected one-act plays in Knoxville on November 11-13, TSC has been commissioned by The Perfoming Arts Alliance of Rural Tennessee (PAART) to bring our performances to The Palace Theater in Crossville, TN. After offering two of Tennessee Williams’ one-acts plays, “Lord Byron’s Love Letter” and “Talk to Me Like the Rain and Let Me Listen” for a matinee performance, we added a third, “The Lady of Lockspur Lotion” to the evening performance, where all three were presented.
