The Tennessee Stage Company has always maintained a strong commitment to education and outreach.  For years, the cornerstone of our education program has been Camp Shakespeare;  recently our program has expanded to include partnerships with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Knox County and the Public Defender's Office.  The company also provides acting classes for various ages and continuing education through our Process Project.

Process Project for Seniors at First Presbyterian Church

Starting in 2004 we have led an ongoing acting program for senior citizens called Process Project For Seniors. The program is now held at First Presbyterian Church on State Street in downtown Knoxville. This program is open to anyone and is free of charge.
