Our Board of Directors
The Tennessee Stage Company Board of Directors (BoD) is comprised of multiple individuals with varying professional backgrounds. The Artistic Director reports directly to the BoD and works with the Executive Committee and the Production, Development, Education & Outreach, and Marketing Chairs on the overall mission of the organization, community outreach programs, artist education, and the implementation of productions. Tennessee Stage is a professional theater company and a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
Meetings are held quarterly and are open to the public. For more information on joining the BoD, or interest in working on a sub-committee, please email TennesseeStage@comcast.net.

Our Artistic Director
Tom Parkhill is the Founding Artistic Director of the Tennessee Stage Company. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and over a long career has worked an actor, director, producer, designer, technician and stage manager. As an administrator he has worked not only with the Stage Company but also with the Strand Street Theatre in Galveston, Texas which he co-founded. Tom did double duty serving as the Executive Director of the Arts Council of Greater Knoxville in 2000 and 2001. He serves on the Board of the Tennessee Theatre Association and and has also served on the Tennesseans For The Arts and Southeastern Theater Conference Boards.
